Marion has studied law in Germany and the United States of America and is a qualified lawyer and juris doctorate in both, the German- as well as the New York State Bar.

 

At the beginning of her career, she has focused successfully on her LEGAL side: Starting in a renowned German law firm in Hamburg, then moving to the inhouse side as EU counselor for a US company and finally as Group General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer in the German headquarters for a global Chinese apparel company.

 

This constant intercultural exposure and responsibility for international topics and -teams as well as her educational expertise in advocacy, negotiation tactics and persuasiveness, has exposed her to various change- and transformation topics throughout her career. 

 

Due Marion's in depth cultural and emotional understanding of people and their drivers, excellency in leadership combined with her strategical skills in driving organizational change and success, she has then more and more exposed herself to HUMAN RESOURCES topics and has served for over 8 years as Group Executive for Human Resources & Legal Affairs.

 

On top Marion is a CLCI certified COACH.

 

During her career Marion's constant topic was CHANGE: she has conducted manifold change management projects, business transformations, market openings / closures, organizational modernization and -restructures as well as various corporate cultural- and leadership change programs.

 

What though was and is by far most meaningful to her in her office, is the daily interaction with human beings: Whether consulting, sparring, coaching, mitigating, developing, mentoring or simply giving a helping hand: It is the human relationship which makes us succeed or not, in every personal or corporate environment!
